Skull Events

Skull Events always occur on the :30 mark, here is a list of all the events:

Last Man Standing – During this event, players are given 30 seconds to enter upon announcement, and PvP is enabled across Skull Island.

Last Gang Standing – The same idea as Last Man Standing, but players win and lose as a gang, and the winning gang gets rewards for every member they have inside Skull Island.

Skull Bosses – This event spawns several bosses around Skull Island, that have increased health and do increased damage. Without a fully runed armor set, they are likely to kill you, but they can drop very nice rewards at a low chance.

Treasure Hunt – Treasure Hunt spawns envoys around Skull Island that function like normal envoys, this event is good for collecting extra shards and a chance at the envoy tag.

Skull Rush – Skull Rush is a Skull Island exclusive event, after 10,000 Crystal Blocks have been broken by all players, the event will activate which does the following: refreshes all currently mined Crystal Blocks, doubles all crystal drops, regenerates Crystals in 30 seconds, and increases the chance for higher tiered ores to spawn.

Envoy Event – An Envoy Event is when multiple Envoys scatter across Skull Island and you have a specific amount of time to find them and open them.

Other Skull Info

You can find Skull Crystal Blocks in caves. Mining them will give you Value Crystals to use on your gang. Here are the coordinates to one section: 92 47 25.

Crab is a popular place players go to for more mob spawns. More people = more mob spawns. Be careful though! Someone might place a PvP Beacon and kill you. Here are the coordinates to Crab: -158 68 194.

The Pond is an area that your gang can control by fishing 100 fishes in a certain amount of time. You can run /ponds to see who’s currently controlling pond and the benefits! You will get +25% Skull Island Drops and +50% Skull Island Experience Gain after capturing the Pond. Here are the coordinates to the Pond (it’s right below the merchant tower): 50 48 11

To exit Skull Island, find an Exit Crystal! Make sure the Boss Bar is enabled so you can see where the closest Skull exit is.

There are also two types of chests in Skull: Treasure Chests and Envoys. Sometimes, Envoys scatter across Skull Island which gives you rewards when you open it up! On the other hand, one Treasure Chest spawns in Skull Island every hour. You can open them up to 3 times with a Treasure Key to obtain Mana vouchers, shards, a temporarily upgraded pickaxe, and other desired rewards.

Here are the Skull Island Mobs ranked from least dangerous to most:
Bilge Rat (Hostile but low HP), Lava Dog (Non Hostile), Flare Merchant (Non Hostile), Arcane Admiral (Hostile), Seaweed Reaver (Hostile), Deckhand Drowner (Hostile), Lava Dog (Hostile), Scorching Magma (Hostile), Deckswab Drudge (Hostile and Deadly), Cutless Corsair (Hostile and Deadly). (Thank you iTimess for another great list!)

Please note: Upgrade Seafarer’s bounty on your sword and mending on all of your armor pieces so that your armor DOES NOT BREAK. Swindled and Seafarer’s are CRUCIAL for Skull, check the Upgrades page for more information.

You will not lose your armor and sword when you die, however, items marked “Contraband” (it will be bolded and red on the item) will drop on death. Your tokens earned will also be lost so be careful!

Smite is an incredibly useful but cheap vanilla upgrade that you can apply to your sword to deal more damage to Skull Monsters!
